We wouldn't be here without you! We wanted to share with you ten lessons we have learned during our ten years of business.

Lesson1

LESSON 01

"All In" means what it says.

Trust is built with quality moments. And staying engaged with little regard for day of week or time of day helps build trust as a teammate and advisor. No matter what, if clients and the employees we provide services to are not our first priority, then any other priority does not matter.

LESSON 02

Connected. Together.

We adopted this as our slogan for good reason. We intentionally strive to build and foster relationships both internally and externally and we use technology tools to help achieve connection.  After all, we are people who serve other people.  And relationship building is never ending.

Priorities start with others.

Everyone we touch is a “customer of one.”  We are passionate about successful companies and happy employees. We stay passionate by reminding each other of our order of priorities: first client, our company, our team, then self.

Success follows quality.

Quality services can only be built with a quality staff.  We have hired and retained a caring, dedicated staff, passionate about helping others succeed and hungry to learn.  We come together as a team to celebrate and calibrate.  We enjoy sharing time together as a staff and as an extended family.

LESSON 05

Work habits are intentional.

We are “on purpose.”  We focus on four team habits: confidence, competence, gratitude, and grace.  Every single day, we strive to showcase these habits not only to our clients, but to our team as well.

LESSON 06

Challenges are embraced.

We prefer to be in the “arena” because that’s where we make the biggest impact. The work we do for our clients can be hard. But, if we are not breaking a sweat to get work done and performing at an excellent level, then we are not giving enough to the relationship.

LESSON 07

Problem solving is not for everyone.

Almost anyone can point out problems.  We fix them.  By getting to root causes, we determine the next best action step.

Peripheral vision is required.

We keep our eyes on the horizon. Because we are passionate and invested in HR services, we are constantly considering variables that some may think are inconsequential while also thinking a few steps ahead! Our team has worked tirelessly to put processes in place to make sure nothing is overlooked, and we make sure to stay on top of the latest HR news.

LESSON 09

The journey is humbling.

As soon as we think we have seen or heard everything – we realize we haven't! With our clients, we see a wide spectrum of requests and policies that pertain to each individual business. The uniqueness each client brings makes every day a new adventure.  And we love it.

Everyone has a story.

We have enjoyed 10 years of providing HR services. Through it all, we have become close to so many people.  And each one has his or her own story.  Often, it is just fun or instructive to share those stories – the good and the bad – and realize how grateful we are for the opportunity to impact so many people through our work.
